Say Yes to the Dress! ~ Vintage Clothing
Are you interested in vintage dress? Many DAR members dress in period clothing for public events, parades and even at meetings. But you might ask, what fabrics should I use? What is a corsett? What kind of Hat? You can sew your own or buy something made for you, but first you might wish to learn the basics. There are many tutorials for many eras on YouTube! Just search online for the era you are interested in and you will find many great tutorials. Chat with members about their outfits.
