Do you have a Revolutionary War patriot in your ancestry? Do you want to support historic preservation, promote education, and participate in patriotic endeavors?
Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and shall prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American Independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.
Admission to membership in the NSDAR is either by invitation through a chapter or as a Member-At-Large.

Individual Chapter Registrars can usually provide assistance to prospective members. Additionally, the Washington State Society has volunteers and resources available to assist with difficult research problems.
